Spheksophobia (Childhood Memory)

Well okay that's a bit of an exaggeration.

That's the phobia of wasps. I had quite a bad experience with them...

It was 2000 I think. I might have been 8 or so. It was a great day. We had the Mulkigians over (this is when I hung out with Ben Mulkigian all the time) and my Dad was over too. We were all out in the backyard and were playing some game. I think they called it Bloody Murder (odd name for a game). There was an "it" person who covered their eyes and counted while everyone else hid. There was a designated home spot and when they were finished counting we had to sneak around and try to make it home without them tagging us. Well it was going okay. I was hiding. Everything was normal. I stood still in the middle of the clearing in our backyard looking for a hiding spot. It was going good...well that is until I noticed something weird. I first felt an odd stinging sensation on my leg...one...two times. What? I looked around and saw several yellow-ish flying insects and then it hit me. I was standing on top of a hive of yellow-jackets hidden in the ground. I freaked.

"BEES!!" I was screaming...well...they were wasps but I didn't care at the moment. I stood there waving my arms like a lunatic.

"Run!" Dad was shouting. "Run!" he shouted a second time. Finally his message reached me and I took off across the yard as fast as I could. They started to chase me, my Dad was yelling ", Okay! You can stop running now!"

They finally caught up to me and were brushing wasps away and throwing off my shirt and everything and trying to find all of them. They brought me inside and counted the stings. There were ten, most of them on my legs. I was terrified.

Mrs. Mulkigian felt bad and ran out to Irving or somewhere and bought me a pack of Poke'mon gum. They had pictures of Poke'mon on them. Ironically one of the ones on the gum was a Beedrill...if you couldn't guess that's a bee like Poke'mon.

So yeah, ever since then, wasps and bees have scared the crap out of me. I hate them...with a passion. I can laugh at all that now but I still hate them. >:C

Yo!

Yellow. This is Jesse (or if you know me on deviantart, mrsaturn123) and...this is my blog. Yeah.

As you can see, I'm a geek. Everyone who knows me knows this by now I'm sure. I've been obsessed with video games (particularly Nintendo) my entire life and I spend an awful lot of time playing them. My favorite is by far Mario.

However this is not all I do. I'm also an artist...or more specifically cartoonist. I draw and doodle practically every day both in school and at home (though I haven't actually finished anything lately). That picture you see in the corner, I drew that. I plan on being a graphic novelist in the future and hope to publish some comics. Yeah. I'll try and post at least a doodle or something that I liked with every post I do but if you want to see more of my art you can see it at mrsaturn123.deviantart.com.

I also write things on occasion too...lately had a few poems.

I'm also obsessed with music, particularly rock. My favorite bands being (in order) Coheed and Cambria, System of a Down, Disturbed and My Chemical Romance. If you haven't heard them, I highly recommend you look them up.

Despite all of this geekishness, I'm not a total weirdo. I lead a fairly normal life. I live with my Mom, my brother Emil, my step-brother Tyler, my best friend Nick (he rents a room from us), and my six cats, Nin, Spaz, Amber, Claude, Scratch and Steve (or as we call "the demon"). I'm also a Christian, I go to church and I believe in Jesus. If you have a problem with that then I'll...uh...pray for you.

Well that's an awful lot of info for right now but that gives you a pretty good run-down of who I am...though I think most of you know me by now.

So now I must leave you with a discussion question...cause Mrs. Innes asked me too:

Um...if I start writing a webcomic...how many of you would follow it?

(lame question I know but I wouldn't mind getting an idea of how many people would)
